Why Airbrush Tanning?
For years, people have spent hours relaxing in the sun to achieve the perfect tan. Now, we have less spare time and more education on the harmful affects of sun exposure . Two major concerns are premature aging (wrinkles) and skin cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, the fastest growing cancer in the United States is skin cancer. Affecting one in five Americans, skin cancer can be deadly, making it very important to minimize the risk.
The Solution
Airbrush tanning is a safe alternative to sun tanning, and the best way to acquire a beautiful tan without harmful affects of the sun. To achieve a natural golden bronze finish, a solution called DHA is applied to the skin. DHA (a derivative from sugar cane) is a safe and effective chemical approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. The DHA causes a reaction with the Amino Acids on the outermost layer of the skin. That, in turn, causes the color of the skin to change, producing a tan.
